Daniel Matsunaga and Erich Gonzales to star in 'Be My Lady'

Real-life couple Daniel Matsunaga and Erich Gonzales will soon be launched as an official love team in the upcoming series "Be My Lady" on ABS-CBN.

The story of "Be My Lady" basically revolves around a foreigner (Matsunaga) who falls in love with a girl from the province (Gonzales).

In an interview with "TV Patrol," Daniel confessed that he felt a crush on Erich the first time he met her on "Kris TV."

Eventually, the Brazilian-Japanese model-actor joined the cast of "Two Wives," of which Erich was one of the leads.

According to the actress, that's where she came to know him as a humble, down-to-earth and God-fearing person and where they formed a deeper friendship.

Aside from "Two Wives," the two have also appeared in one of the anniversary episodes of the legal drama, "Ipaglaban Mo," last June 6.

Watch out for them in "Be My Lady," airing very soon this July.
