Kim Chiu's "Chinita Princess" album gets gold, platinum awards

Kim Chiu's efforts in promoting "Chinita Princess" have paid off as the album has just received gold and platinum awards.

The awards were given to Kim in "ASAP" on June 14, 2015, marking her album a certified hit.

Upon receiving the awards, the Kapamilya star immediately took to Instagram to share her happiness to her followers.

"First photo today," she wrote in the caption of the photo showing her receiving the awards. "I'm so happy! One of the best feelings in the world is to be APPRECIATED."

She also thanked Star Records' Roxy Liquigan, Jonathan Manalo, Rox Santos, and Malou Santos for giving her the opportunity to have another album.

"Chinita Princess" is her second solo release, after the 2007 hit "Gwa Ai Di."

Kim also thanked her "ASAP" family, her fans, and "Papa God."

"To my ASAP family thank you! To my ever supportive fans! Mahal ko kayong lahat!" she wrote. "Gold and platinum yay! Thank you papa God!"
