John Lloyd Cruz has turned a year older a few days ago and it seems like he's getting more projects as birthday gift from ABS-CBN.
Aside from a "Maalaala Mo Kaya" reunion with Kaye Abad this Saturday, John Lloyd is going to do three more episodes for his "special engagement" with the drama anthology.
One of the episodes will be another reunion, this time with his long-time on-screen partner Bea Alonzo.
The award-winning actor also revealed that he is set to do a movie with Bea this year.
"Mayroon kaming gustong gawin ni Tita Malou (Santos). Mayroon silang istorya ni Ma'am Charo (Santos-Concio) at gusto nila ako ang gumawa. Kung matutuloy 'yon at kung matutuloy according to plan ang naka-lineup, I'm going to do a movie with Bea this year," he told the press on the set of "MMK" on Thursday, as quoted by abs-cbnnews.com.
"Pagkatapos noon, kung matutuloy ang plano ay babalik ako, magti-TV ako para sa planong sinasabi ko," he added.
John Lloyd and Bea have starred in a number of movies together, including "One More Chance" which has recently been released as a book.
Meanwhile, aside from "MMK" this Saturday, you can also catch John Lloyd in "Home Sweetie Home," his weekend sitcom with Toni Gonzaga also on ABS-CBN.
