Tiya Pusit passes away

Tiya Pusit passed away on Thursday, 11:29 pm, at the age of 66.

Myrna Villanueva in real life, the comedienne died while confined at the Philippine Heart Center where she underwent a double bypass surgery last September 9.

It was just last August when she was diagnosed with aortic aneurysm and kidney failure.

Her family including her sister, actress Nova Villa, recently appealed for financial support to help them with the cost of operation and other hospital bills.

Meanwhile, messages for Tiya Pusit have been pouring on social media from her friends, those she has worked with, and even from showbiz fans who say they will miss her brand of comedy.

Last year, the comedienne became controversial for being in a relationship with a 27-year old call center agent.

But more than that, Tiya Pusit will be remembered for her roles in movies like "Once Upon A Time In Manila" and "Good Morning Teacher," and TV shows like "Beh Bote Nga" and "Bahay Mo Ba 'To."
