Flores, 29, was nabbed in Sta. Rosa, Laguna on Wednesday with the combined efforts of the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).

In an interview with the media, the suspect, who was a stay-out cleaner at Sison's house, said he was not the one who killed the 75-year-old woman. It was one of his two other companions who stabbed her to death.

He added that their only intention was to rob the house, but his companion decided to kill the old woman when she woke up and saw them. They were under the influence of shabu that time.

They left Sison's house with cash and P500,000 worth of jewelry.

Two days earlier, Picache also took to social media to post a photo of Flores, asking her followers to help them find the man by reposting it.

Flores already had a shaved head when he was captured, an obvious effort to make his look different from the photo that has become viral.

It was a female friend he was visiting in Laguna who bravely gave a tip to the authorities which led to his arrest.
