The music video of Taylor Swift’s We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together recently debuted at No. 1 on MYX International Top (MIT) 20.

The song is the first single off of her upcoming new album titled Red. She first announced the song during a live web chat with her fans.

We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together was written by Taylor herself with Max Martin and Shellback.

The lyrics talk about Taylor’s frustration at an ex-lover who wants to come back to her. She reportedly wrote the song after a friend of her ex-boyfriend talked about the rumors he heard that Taylor and the ex-boyfriend are getting back together.

The song is catchy and her fans surely loved it, reason why it peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, a first for Taylor, and stayed there for more than a week.
