Emma Watson stars in the upcoming movie The Perks of Being a Wallflower which will hit theaters in September.
The movie also stars Logan Lerman and Ezra Miller in this teen movie about an introvert freshman who met and was taken under the wings of two seniors.
Stephen Chbosy directed the movie. He also wrote the script which was based on the novel which he also wrote.
The movie is about “15-year-old Charlie (Logan Lerman), an endearing and naive outsider, coping with first love (Emma Watson), the suicide of his best friend, and his own mental illness while struggling to find a group of people with whom he belongs.”
The trailer’s YouTube description says The Perks of Being a Wallflower is “a funny and touching coming-of-age story… a modern classic that captures the dizzying highs and crushing lows of growing up… a moving tale of love, loss, fear and hope—and the unforgettable friends that help us through life.”
