Marvin Agustin is back with ABS-CBN after almost a decade of being away.
The actor is reportedly doing a television series for the Kapamilya Network, the TV station where he started his showbiz career and became a part of for eleven years until he transferred to GMA-7 in 2004.
News about Marvin's comeback was revealed during the press conference for the movie "Moron5.2" of which he is one of the leads.
Wenn Deramas, the movie's director, will also direct "Flordeliza," the actor's comeback series.
His return to the network brought up speculations that Jolina Magdangal, his love team during the peak of their respective showbiz careers, will also be coming back.
But as much as it would be exciting to see them together again on TV, Jolina's return is still unconfirmed.
"Ako honestly hindi ko pa alam, hindi pa nila ako binabalikan, hindi pa nila ako binabalitaan. Pero napakaganda siguro kung mangyayari 'yon, hindi ba? Marvin-Jolina, throwback na throwback," Wenn said, as quoted by abs-cbnnews.com.
The director also added that they have already started taping scenes on Tuesday.
"Hindi ko pa man sila naidi-direk sa pelikula na magkasama eh sana talaga. Dahil ang ganda ng istorya, ang ganda ng serye. Nagsimula na kami kahapon (Tuesday)," he said.
Marvin was last seen on ABS-CBN via "Sana'y Wala Nang Wakas" in 2004. His last series, however, was with TV5 in the medical drama "Obsession."
