Beginning Monday (January 26), the Twitter-trending afternoon drama series “Flordeliza” starring Jolina Magdangal and Marvin Agustin will air on a new time slot, 2:30PM, on ABS-CBN’s Kapamilya Gold block.
Meanwhile, the story’s plot thickens now that Florida (Jolina) resides with Crisanto (Marvin) and his legal wife, Elizabeth (Desiree del Valle).
Returning Kapamilya Jolina Magdangal-Escueta shares in “Tapatan Ni Tunying” airing this Thursday (November 13) that motherhood makes her a better actress as she is now able to dig deeper into more mature roles.
“I can now relate and effectively portray a mother in drama scenes. That is one of the changes that the audience will see,” the first-time mom says.
ABS-CBN is set to release another TV masterpiece soon via the heart-wrenching family drama series “Flordeliza” which features the highly anticipated return of the 90’s iconic Kapamilya love team of Jolina Magdangal and Marvin Agustin, who are both bound to reveal to the audience their more mature and more dramatic roles.
“Jolina and Marvin are known for their romantic-comedy projects. But over the years, we saw them grow as individual actors and both of them earned awards of their own. And here in ‘Flordeliza,’ they will take their loveteam to the next level. Both of them will take on serious roles and perform heavy dramatic scenes,” said Master Storyteller Wenn V. Deramas, who conceptualized and directed the reunion project of the MarJo tandem.

Long-time onscreen partners Jolina Magdangal and Marvin Agustin join their die-hard fans in anticipation of the launch of the family drama series “Flordeliza” on ABS-CBN which will feature the mature and more daring ‘MarJo’ love team.
Marvin and Jolina were last seen together as Kapamilyas in the 1999 blockbuster hit movie, “Hey Babe,” and on TV via the top-rated romantic comedy series, ”Labs Ko Si Babe,” that aired from 1999 to 2000.
Singer-actress Jolina Magdangal is overwhelmed with all the positive feedback and well wishes she has been receiving since her return to ABS-CBN. She recently had her first taping day (October 27) for the new drama series “Flordeliza,” wherein she will be co-starring with her long-time love team partner, Marvin Agustin.
“I’m so excited and nervous, but in a good way, for everything that will happen next. After 12 years, I’m finally back home,” said Jolina about her ABS-CBN homecoming.

The movie poster of Moron 5 and the Crying Lady has been released. Showing on April 7th, It stars Luis Manzano, Billy Crawford, Marvin Agustin, DJ Durano, Marin Escudero and John Lapus.
Produced by Viva Films and MVP Pictures, Moron 5 and the Crying Lady is directed by Wenn V. Deramas from the script written by Mel del Rosario.

GMA Films presents a new horror movie which stars the hottest teen actors of today. Titled The Road, the movie is set for release October 12, 2011.
Fresh from the currently showing teen flick Tween Academy: Class of 2012, Kapuso teen stars Barbie Forteza, Louise delos Reyes, Alden Richards, Derrick Monasterio, and Lexi Fernandez will treat us to a horror movie that's very timely for the coming Halloween season.
Also in the cast of The Road are Rhian Ramos, Carmina Villaroel, Marvin Agustin, TJ Trinidad, Ynna Asistio and Renz Valerio.
The movie is directed by Yam Laranas who is best known for his horror movies Sigaw (2004) and its English version The Echo (2008).

GMA-7 has released a new teaser for the upcoming fantasy, Iglot, which stars Claudine Barretto, Jolina Magdangal, and Marvin Agustin. It's actually the new version of the previous teaser that showed just the mouths of the actors calling "Iglot!" (RELATED POST)
Directed by Gil Tejada, the series also stars Luis Alandy, Patrick Garcia, Pauline Luna, Celia Rodriguez, Romnick Sarmenta, and Sylvia Sanchez.
Iglot is "hatching soon" only on GMA-7.

Claudine Baretto, after much absence on television, will star in a fantasy series with Jolina Magdangal and Marvin Agustin. It's quite interesting to note that all three were originally from the Kapamilya network who transferred to GMA-7.
Titled Iglot, the story is about a child who found a giant egg (itlog) that has a magical creature inside. This will be in line with the fantasy series Magic Palayok, which also has a child star in the lead, that seems to be doing well in the ratings game.
From the looks of it, this new show will be included in the Dramarama sa Hapon block.
Directed by Gil Tejada, the series also has Luis Alandy in the cast. GMA-7 is said to still be holding auditions for the child lead, and there is no exact date yet as to when it will premiere.
