Marian Rivera to play Wonder Woman?

A photo showing Marian Rivera wearing the Wonder Woman tiara/headband has surfaced on the internet and has since become a hot topic among netizens.

Will she be playing the role of the warrior princess in a local adaptation? Was the photo taken in a screen test or something? Or was she just playing with the headband and the photo meant nothing at all?

Truth is, Marian cosplayed Wonder Woman for the cover of Digital Photographer Philippines magazine’s upcoming issue. She was photographed for the mag by Jay Tablante, the wacky guy Marian is with in the above photo which was shared by Jay himself on his Facebook page.

Let’s admit, though, that the tiara looks good on Marian. It would definitely be a hit if ever GMA-7 (the actress’s mother network) would do an adaptation of the popular TV series.
