‘Elevator Girl’ Cheridel Alejandrino recognized for dedication to her job

Cheridel Alejandrino became an instant celebrity after the “elevator girl” videos were uploaded on YouTube. Aside from becoming viral on the internet, the videos also made it to the local news and eventually got her a recognition from SM Supermalls.

Her dedication to her job as an elevator operator of SM Olongapo showed in the said videos. As the YouTube description goes, she works 8 to 12 hours a day but never ceases to serve with a smile.

She doesn’t even seem to get tired of announcing to her “passengers” the shops that can be found in the floor that they are currently approaching.

SM finally recognized her dedication to her job. And just look at her in the photo above, she seems to be so proud showing her certificate of recognition to the camera.
