Sylvester Stallone’s son dead of overdose at 36

Sage Stallone, son of actor Sylvester Stallone was found dead in his Los Angeles home in the afternoon of July 13, 2012.

Sage was reported to have died due to an overdose of a still unidentified pill. He was 36.

He reportedly did not answer his door when a friend visited his apartment. He was found lifeless when the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) performed a welfare check.

His father’s lawyer has released this statement over the incident:

"Sylvester Stallone is devastated and grief-stricken over the sudden loss of his son Sage Stallone. His compassion and thoughts are with Sage's mother, Sasha. Sage was a very talented and wonderful young man. His loss will be felt forever."

Sage is an actor, director, producer and screenwriter. He made his acting debut in Rocky V, alongside his father.

He was Sylvester’s son with Sasha Czack and was the brother of Seargeoh Stallone and half-brother of Sistine, Sophia and Scarlet Stallone.

May his soul rest in peace.
