ABS-CBN’s new teleserye, Kahit Puso’y Masugatan, will air its pilot episode this July. It stars Iza Calzado, Andi Eigenmann, Jake Cuenca and Gabby Concepcion.
Kahit Puso’y Masugatan marks as Iza’s first full series she she transferred to ABS-CBN. She has been very visible in Kapamilya shows and her Maalaala Mo Kaya episode made her fans crave to see her acting on primetime.
It’s not only Iza, however, who is making a primetime TV comeback via Kahit Puso’y Masugatan. This is also Andi’s first teleserye after she gave birth to a baby girl last November. She hasn’t settled it yet with Albie Casiño, the rumored father of her baby, but we can say that Andi is more than ready for an acting comeback with more experiences to draw emotions from when needed.
We can say Jake is one of those actors who’s blessed enough to have an upcoming series while another series of his is still being aired. The star of Kung Ako’y Iiwan Mo will play the role of the man who will be torn between Iza and Andi’s characters. And isn’t he torn between two loves as well in that daytime soap? Oh well, I guess it really pays to be goodlooking like that.
Gabby Concepcion, who’s turning 48 in November, still looks good on cam and can still be partnered with younger leading ladies.
What’s with the 40-something men on TV these days? Richard Yap, who’s 45, is starring in another series with Jodi Sta. Maria. And, of course, Richard Gomez, 46, is still making the female viewers swoon in Walang Hanggan.
Enough of the middle-aged men, though, because Kit Thompson, PBB Teen Edition 4’s ex-housemate, is being introduced in the series.
