GMA-7's My Beloved which stars real life couple Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes is set to conquer primetime television next Monday, February 13.
The series recently caused a tension among motorists when it taped a big scene along Buendia and Roxas Boulevard.
The scene needed a bus to drop from the flyover to the road below, crunching three small vehicles underneath it.
The taping caused a lot of traffic but the production team said they had the necessary permits to tape those scenes in the area, and asked the public to bear with them.
In a text to PEP.ph, Dingdong was even quoted as saying:
"As a result of our utmost desire and commitment to deliver quality entertainment by the use of showcasing our production capabilities, most of the time it entails a high risk of safety to everyone involved—especially when shooting in public places.
"With that, we would like to thank our authorities for the assistance and guidance, and I am grateful that no one was physically harmed while capturing a very critical and intense scene for our show, My Beloved."
The series is shot in HD. And while Marian cut her her short for the role, Dingdong needed to don extensions for his role as tagasundo or angel of death.
