Fans couldn't contain their excitement when Alden Richards arrived in the middle of the 29th PMPC Star Awards for TV ceremonies Thursday night. His name was chanted as he entered the Kia Theater that the program was temporarily halted until the screams died down.
Alden won two awards at the Philippine Movie Press Club-spearheaded event - Best Drama Actor for his role in GMA-7's "Ilustrado," and the Power Tandem award that he shared with Maine Mendoza.

ABS-CBN won majority of the awards, but we can say Alden was the runaway winner for winning the hearts of the audience.
