The grand showdown of the top five celebrity performers of "Your Face Sounds Familiar" season 2 happened on Saturday, December 12, 2015.
Sam Concepcion opened the show as Justin Bieber. He performed shirtless and even went to the audience area while singing "Sorry," and he tripped and almost fell while running around.
All three judges - Sharon Cuneta, Jed Madela and Gary Valenciano - were all praises for Sam. They're not gonna rank the performers anymore because the results of the grand finals which will be revealed on Sunday will all be based on text votes.
Up next was Denise Laurel who impersonated Beyonce. She sang and danced to the tune of "Crazy In Love" and made her fans scream with delight.
Sharon said it was a wonderful performance and Denise is "gonna go far."
Gary noted that Denise didn't compromise the choreography although he noticed that she didn't sing everything.
Jed, on the other hand, said that she shouldn't stop performing. He even told her to set aside acting for a while and perform with him.
Kean Cipriano was the third to perform as Ricky Martin, singing "Livin' La Vida Loca" and showing off his dance moves. He seemed so proud of his hip gyrations which he had to take extra dance lessons for from the G-Force dancers in order to perfect.
Gary likened Kean to season 1 winner Melai Cantiveros. "Kung ang season 1 may fun factor dahil kay Melai, ikaw ang fun factor sa season 2," he said. But it's not because he's funny like Melai, but because he enjoys anything that is given to him.
Up next was KZ Tandingan as Lady Gaga singing "Born This Way." Just like Kean, KZ also wasn't used to dancing. She did fine, though, with the help of Teacher Georcelle Dapat-Sy.
Gary praised her performance, describing it as "out of this world." He also mentioned that while the show was already top trending on Twitter worldwide at that point, her performance would make their tweet count even higher.
Last to perform was Michael Pangilinan, impersonating Adam Levine of Maroon 5. He performed "Sugar" shirtless, channeling the American singer's sexiness.
All the judges were very impressed. "It was the best way to end the show tonight," Jed said, commending Michael for his singing voice that was "mismong-mismong Adam Levine."
"You saved your very best for the last [performance]," said Gary, noting that he was good when he joined "X Factor Philippines," better during the start of "YFSF" season 2, and the best during this last performance of the season.
You can vote for your favorite celebrity performer by texting YFSF<space>Name of Performer and send to 2366 for all mobile networks. Voting lines will be opened after the end of the Saturday episode. Only one vote per SIM per day is allowed so you still have another chance to vote using the same SIM tomorrow.
