While Kim Chiu did the right thing to exercise her right to vote by registering with COMELEC, many have criticized the Kapamilya star when a video showing her allegedly receiving special treatment during the registration was uploaded on social media.

The video was uploaded Wednesday night, November 11, 2015, on Facebook, showing Kim being assisted by COMELEC staff with her registration form.
A voice of a man (possibly the one taking the video) could be heard in the background, saying the actress jumped the queue.
"Inuna n'yo pa 'yung artista na hindi pumila," the man, in an accusing tone, told an officer near him.
The video already has a little more than half a million views as of this posting and some 18k comments, majority of which are bashing the alleged special treatment.
A couple of hours after the video was posted, however, Kim revealed on Twitter that she had someone that queued for her during the registration process.
In a response to a question, she said that her road manager lined up for her.
"I was there 7:30 am po kasi I had a flight after, my RM lined up for me po," she wrote.

You can also find a post on Kim's Instagram (uploaded weeks before the video came out) that shows her wearing the same outfit as the one she was in in the video, and holding her registration form. In the caption, she thanked @maquieraquiza for helping her.
