"A Second Chance," the sequel to the 2007 hit movie "One More Chance," opened in Philippine cinemas on Wednesday, November 25, 2015. As expected, moviegoers lined up to watch the Star Cinema movie starring John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo, who reprised their roles as Popoy and Basha, respectively.

And how much did "A Second Chance" make on its first day of showing? A whooping P43.3-million!
It was first posted, however that the Cathy Garcia-Molina helmed movie earned P35-million on its opening day. But "due to the deluge of audience in the evening, more midnight screenings were opened by the cinemas -- bringing the gross of #ASecondChance to a phenomenal level."
Not only phenomenal, because its first-day ticket sales was also the highest opening gross for a non-MMFF Filipino movie as of Nov. 26.
