The official poster for "Beauty and the Bestie" has been released. The movie is an official entry to the 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).
Topbilled by Vice Ganda and Coco Martin, "Beauty and the Bestie" also has the popular love team of James Reid and Nadine Lustre (JaDine) in the cast, as well as Karla Estrada, Ryan Bang, and child stars Marco Masa and Alonzo Muhlach.
While it's quite obvious that Vice is the "beauty" and Coco is the "bestie," the poster reveals a little more about the latter's character. With a gun in hand, there will surely be a number of actions scenes (ala-"Ang Probinsyano") in the movie.
Wenn V. Deramas is at the helm. This is his fourth MMFF movie with Vice, after "Sisterakas," "Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy" and "The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin." The last one is the current highest grossing Filipino film of all time.
Will this new one also break records?
"Beauty and the Bestie" opens on Christmas Day, December 25, 2015, from Star Cinema and Viva Films.
