31st PMPC Star Awards for Movies (2015)Winners Revealed - Nora Aunor is Best Actress

Nora Aunor was named Best Actress by the 31st Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) Star Awards for Movies 2015 for her role in "Dementia." The awarding ceremony was held Sunday night at The Theater At Solaire in ParaƱaque City.

It is the superstar's 3rd Best Actress trophy locally for the said role in the horror-drama movie that was shown last year.

Nora's last acting award from the PMPC Star Awards for Movies was 19 years ago for her role in "The Flor Contemplacion Story."

Meanwhile, John Lloyd Cruz and Piolo Pascual tied for Best Actor for their respective roles in "The Trial" and "Starting Over Again."

There was also a tie in the Best Supporting Actress category, won by Gretchen Barretto and Sylvia Sanchez for their respective roles in "The Trial."

If those weren't enough, a third tie was won in the Best Child Performer category by James "Bimby" Yap for "The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin" and Miggs Cuaderno for "Asintado."
