Jolo Revilla suffers gunshot wound on chest

Cavite Vice Governor Jolo Revilla was rushed to the hospital after sustaining a self-inflicted gunshot wound that went through his upper right chest.

The reports have been confirmed by talent manager and TV host Lolit Solis who is a known close friend of the Revillas.

According to Lolit, the incident happened Saturday morning inside the Revilla's house in Alabang.

Jolo Revilla was immediately rushed and confined at the Asian Hospital and Medical Center in Muntinlupa.

Further reports say he is already in a stable condition now but is still inside the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital.

Lolit revealed that a day before the incident, she noticed Jolo Revilla to have been very worried about his dad, Senator Bong Revilla.

Currently in jail, the senator reportedly had an unauthorized meeting with Senator Juan Ponce Enrile, who is under hospital arrest, last February 14. The two lawmakers are detained because of their alleged involvement in the pork barrel scam.

Meanwhile, there are reports that say Jolo Revilla accidentally shot himself with a gun he is cleaning.

The Revillas have yet to release an official statement regarding the incident.
