Single mom wins P1M in "Eat Bulaga!'s" Laban O Bawi

"Eat Bulaga!" has produced a new millionaire during the Tuesday episode of the country's longest-running noontime show.

Salmiya Makasait was named the first "Laban o Bawi" millionaire in the current edition of the program's classic and one of its most famous segments, Laban O Bawi.

Salmiya was firm in shouting "Laban!" despite the P80,000 offer and the possibility of ending up taking home just P10.

The decision of the single mother of four from Basilan to go for the chance to win the million couldn't be changed even if the friend who was with her in the studio wanted her to just take the P80,000 being offered.
