Jonniver Robles was "kicked out" of "The Voice of the Philippines" as announced by his coach, Bamboo Mañalac, on Sunday night's Knockouts episode of the singing reality show. He was replaced by Rita Martinez, the eliminated artists from Jonniver's group.
Moments after Bamboo's big announcement, however, a certain Joniver Robles took to Facebook to post an appeal.
It has not been confirmed, however, if it was the real Facebook account of Jonniver, or if it belongs to someone posing as him.
But if it was really him who owns the account, the post reveals that Jonniver didn't know about his removal until it was announced on national television.
"I didn't know what to do and not hearing anything from my coach and teammates or anyone from the show made me wait until tonight," part of the post read.
He also wrote about the people who "can always make up lies to be used against me." He didn't specify, however, who those people are.
Meanwhile, according to some posts on social media, Jonniver was replaced because he violated some parts of his signed contract with the reality show regarding confidentiality.
Some netizens said that Jonniver revealed that he made the cut for the live shows even before Team Bamboo's Knockouts episode was aired.
The show didn't say it was contract violation, though. As per Bamboo's announcement, it was cited that Jonniver couldn't continue in the competition due to personal reasons.
