Team Bamboo - Knockout Rounds ('The Voice PH')

The artists of Team Bamboo took the stage for the last Knockout Rounds episode of "The Voice of the Philippines" season two.

Team Bamboo - The Voice PH 2 Knockout Rounds

Carlo Mojica, Jonniver Robles and Rita Martinez consisted the first set of artists to do the Knockout Round on Sunday.

Carlo did his version of the Asin original, "Usok," while playing the guitar. Rita sang "Hit Me With Your Best Shot," rocking the stage with her cool style. Last to sing was Jonniver with Juan Dela Cruz's "Ang Himig Natin."

Each has their own style, and at the end of the round, coaches Apl.de.ap, Lea Salonga and Sarah Geronimo were equally divided among the three artists. Apl chose Jonniver, Lea picked Carlo, and Sarah named Rita as her best artist of the round.

Coach Bamboo Mañalac had to choose only two artists, though. He first picked Carlo, followed by Jonniver. Rita was eliminated.

The second set included Rence Rapanot, Elmerjun Hilario and Kai Honasan.

Rence was the first to perform with Joey Ayala's "Walang Hanggang Paalam." He dedicated the song for the country, and he indeed sounded like a folk singer especially while playing his guitar.

Kai's rendition of the classic Ryan Cayabyab song "Limang Dipang Tao" proved that she can do other genres. Her notes were not on point, though, which made listening to her a little hard.

Elmerjun performed last with his version of Sam Concepcion and Tippy Dos Santos' "Dati." Known for being a one-man-band, he owned the stage with his performance.

After the second set performed, Apl chose Elmerjun, Lea chose Renz, and Sarah "broke the rule" by choosing two artists - the former Team Sarah member, Elmerjun, as well as Renz.

Coach Bamboo, though, had to let go of Elmerjun. He picked Rence and Kai to advance to the live shows.

Arnee Hidalgo, Lougee Basabas and Tanya Diaz made up the third and last set of Team Bamboo's Knockout Rounds.

Lougee performed first with Aretha Franklin's "Chain of Fools" proving that she can belt it out.

Arnee did Alicia Keys' "Fallin'" and the song choice was perfect for her voice. Her rather sexy performance kept us glued to our TV screens.

Tanya sang last, performing Skid Row's "I Remember You." Her powerful vocals and literally head-banging performance rocked the stage.

Arnee was favored by the two female coaches, Lea and Sarah, while it was Tanya's performance that Apl found the best among the three.

Bamboo had the last say so his decision was the most important. He picked Tanya and Arnee to advance to the live shows. Lougee, the former Mojofly vocalist, was eliminated.

At the end of the episode, Bamboo made an important announcement - Jonniver could not continue in the competition due to personal reasons. To complete Team Bamboo's Top 6, would be replaced by the artists he competed with in the Knockouts. And that's Rita.

The official Team Bamboo's Top 6 - Carlo Mojica, Rence Rapanot, Kai Honasan, Tanya Diaz, Arnee Hidalgo and Rita Martinez.
