Paulo Avelino has just been confirmed to be doing the role of Carlos Antonio in "Bridges of Love," an upcoming television series of ABS-CBN, joining Jericho Rosales and Maja Salvador in the lead cast.
The role of Carlos was originally offered to John Lloyd Cruz, who begged off from the project after being announced to be part of it.
Xian Lim was reported to be the replacement but has also been removed because he will be busy with his reunion TV project with love team Kim Chiu.
Let's just hope that everything goes well and Paulo will indeed be in the final casting.

Due to public clamor, ABS-CBN, through the Star Creatives business unit, is bringing back the loveteam of Kim Chiu and Xian Lim in a primetime teleserye to be launched this year. Because of this development, Xian will not pursue the teleserye “Bridges of Love” with Maja Salvador and Jericho Rosales. The role of Carlos Antonio in the said series will now be played by Paulo Avelino.
