'The Voice Kids' coaches talk about their artists

The Voice Kids' "The Final Showdown" is set to happen this weekend at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila. Four young artists will be vying for the first-ever title, and the fame and fortune that goes with it.

ABS-CBN has recently released a teaser for the program's finale, with coaches Sarah Geronimo, Bamboo MaƱalac and Lea Salonga talking about why their respective artists should win.

Sarah has two artists in the Top 4 - Lyca Gairanod and Darren Espanto, who ranked first and second respectively in the text votes during last weekend's semi-finals.

The Popstar Royalty tagged Darren as a "world-class total performer" and Lyca as the "boses ng masang Pilipino." Would the first The Voice Kids winner come from her team?

Coach Bamboo, meanwhile, said that Juan Karlos Labajo is incomparable when it comes to connecting to his songs while performing. The Cebuano young man has indeed captured the hearts of many with his rendition of Grow Old With You during the Blind Audition, Stay during the Sing Off, and even made a lot of the viewers swoon over his singing and dancing to Sway during the Semi-Finals.

Darlene Vibares of Team Lea, on the other hand, renders her performances with such passion that she has been dubbed as the "Girl on Fire," which is also the title of the Alicia Keys song that the young girl performed during the Blinds.

According to Lea, "Si Darlene ang dapat manalo dahil kahit ano'ng stage ang kanyang tinutuntungan, ang mga performances n'ya ay nagliliyab."

Don't miss The Voice Kids performance night on Saturday at 6:45PM, and the announcement of winner on Sunday at 6:15PM, on ABS-CBN.
