Lyca sang Basang-basa Sa Ulan with the Aegis during the third round of the competition on Sunday. She really shone in the Tagalog piece just like when she sang Narito Ako during the first round on Saturday. She proved, however, that she could also sing English songs when she did Carly Rae Jepsen's Call Me Maybe in the second round during the first part of the finals.
The 9-year-old girl from Tanza, Cavite bested three other talented finalists - her fellow Team Sarah artist Darren Espanto, who ended as the first runner-up; the charming Juan Karlos Labajo of Team Bamboo who was declared second runner-up; and Team Lea's Darlene Vibares who became the fourth runner-up.
