Fr. Efren Borromeo's life story featured in 'MMK'

ABS-CBN’s “Maalaala Mo Kaya” will tell the life story famous Filipino healing priest Fr. Efren “Momoy” Borromeo this Saturday (June 7).

Award-winning actor Nonie Buencamino will portray as Fr. Efren.

How did young Efren discover his gift of healing the sick and his ability to see the souls of departed people? What were the hardest trials that put his faith to the test?

Playing young Efren are Kyle Banzon and John Manalo. Also part of the upcoming episode are Juan Rodrigo, Malou de Guzman, Nathaniel Britt, Lemuel Pelayo, Josef Elizalde, Tom Doromal, Nick Lizaso, Mike Austria, Louella de Cordova, Encar Benedicto, Odette Khan, Jacob Dionisio, Paolo Santiago, Joonee Gamboa, Nanding Josef, and Anita Linda.

The episode is directed by Garry Fernando, written by Mark Duane Angos and Arah Jell Badayos, and researched by “A” Marjorie Anne MaƱo.
