Cedric Lee, responsible for upload of Hayden Kho videos?

Cedric Lee, who is facing serious illegal detention and grave coercion charges for the mauling of actor Vhong Navarro, is being connected to the Hayden Kho series of scandal videos that surfaced on the internet a few years ago.

Atty. Raymund Palad, the lawyer of actress Katrina Halili, requested the Department of Justice to look into the claims that Cedric has something to do with the spread of the controversial videos of Hayden. Katrina became the most controversial among the women seen in the videos because she filed charges against Hayden.

"Mismong ang kampo ni Hayden ang nagsabi sa husgado na kinokotongan sila ni Cedric Lee. Matagal ko nang isinulat sa [Department of Justice] yan pero 'di inaksyunan," Palad said, as quoted by abs-cbnnews.com.

At the height of the investigation, Hayden had said that a group tried to extort P4-million from him or they would upload the videos on the internet.

The extortion story has a resemblance with what Vhong revealed in his affidavit. According to the comedian-TV host, Cedric's group took a video of him with his pants down after he was beaten up. The group then tried to extort P2-million from him or the video of him naked would come out.

Justice Secretary Leila de Lima has already ordered the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to look into Cedric's possible involvement with the Hayden Kho scandal.

Meanwhile, Howard Calleja, Cedric's lawyer, said linking his client to another scandal just shows how biased the DOJ is.

"I don't have any knowledge of this issue. However, if true that the DOJ is again trying to pin my client in another unfounded issue, it just shows the bias of DOJ against my client. I hope that my client's name and reputation won't be dragged unjustly to satisfy purposes and objectives only known to DOJ and some individuals," Calleja said.
