Regine Velasquez's "Sarap Diva" premieres today!

Sarap Diva, the newest and first-ever cooking show of Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez, premieres later this morning on GMA-7.

Careers of celebrities really make a turn-around depending on the developments in their personal life, don’t they? Regine is now a wife and a mom, thus, she’s given a cooking show!

Sarap Diva will have Kapuso chef Boy Logro (of Chef Boy Logro: Kusina Master) and journalist Jessica Soho as guests in its pilot episode. Two royalties, as Boy is the King of Kitchen and Jessica is the Queen of Newsroom.

The chef will teach the diva how to cook Pork Loin Rack, while the journalist will show how she cooks her specialty Pinakbet.

Regine actually wanted Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago for the pilot but it didn’t push through. The diva, though, still hopes to guest the witty senator in the future episodes.

Sarap Diva airs Saturdays at 10:45 AM and runs for about 45 minutes before the noontime show Eat Bulaga! which will have an earlier timeslot of 11:30 AM beginning today and every Saturday thereafter.
