The music video of Live While We’re Young by One Direction topped MYX International Top (MIT) 20 for the week of September 29 – October 5, 2012.
Live While We’re Young is from the boy band’s upcoming second studio album titled Take Me Home which is scheduled for release on November 12 in the UK and Nov. 13 in the US and Canada.
It defeated Taylor Swift’s We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together which also debuted at No. 1 and stayed on top for three weeks. It now sits at No. 2.
Other new entries this week include PSY’s Gangnam Style (which has been getting viral on the internet) at No. 4 and G-Dragon’s Crayon at No. 10.
Music videos that dropped out of the chart this week: Carrie Underwood’s Blown Away; Super Junior’s Sexy, Free and Single; and OneRepublic’s Feel Again which debuted just last week.
