The housemates had barely gotten over Nikka Javier’s eviction Saturday night, but they had to vote again for a new set of nominees.
Kit Thompson was automatically nominated. Their group in the Patibahayan weekly task did the least sturdy shelter and as a result, one of this week’s nominees should come from the group. Kit volunteered because according to him, Myrtle Sarrosa and Mariz Raneses have more reasons to stay inside the house.
But then Mariz also became part of the nominees for being among those who got higher nomination points from her fellow housemates. It’s just sad that “Bye Mariz” immediately trended on Twitter right after the announcement of nominees.
Tweeps seem to be sure that Mariz will be the one going home come eviction night on Saturday because perhaps they see her as having the weakest fan base among the lineup of nominees. Mariz survived the first eviction a couple of weeks back when she got more votes than evictee Vince Manlapaz, but less votes than fellow 1st eviction nominees Kit (who dominated with 49.76%) and Claire Bercero (only by 0.1%, though). Claire is also nominated this week.
Karen Reyes was also among the nominees this week, and that’s two straight weeks for her. Her fellow housemates seem to not like her anymore. Her crush for Kit has been her downfall, IMO.
Yves Flores is also nominated. He’s the only first-time nominee this week. His vote-garnering powers could be tested this week, but I’m almost sure he will not be sent home yet.
Boy-next-door type of guys get lots of votes in reality competitions like this, regardless.
