Kit Thompson was evicted from the Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Season 4 house and became this season’s 5th evictee.
Kit got the lowest percentage of votes with 19.10%. It was a far cry from the support given by fans to fellow nominees Yves Flores who got 40.09%, and Alec Dungo who got the highest 40.81%.
Kit had been nominated 4 times before finally getting the boot. He only escaped the tension once during the second nomination.#PBB5thEviction became Twitter’s top trending topic in the Philippines followed by “Bye Kit.” In worldwide trends, though, “Bye Kit” peaked at number 1 but only stayed there for a short while.
But before that, Kit asked for forgiveness from Karen Reyes for all their misunderstandings in the past. She was the one Kit wanted to say sorry to when Big Brother told them he’s giving them a chance to finish whatever unfinished business the three nominated housemates have. Yves, of course, made amends with Myrtle Sarrosa while Alec asked for forgiveness from Jai Agpangan for the stolen kiss earlier in the season. He also thanked her for making him happy whenever he sees her laugh, or even when she’s trying to avoid him.
Kit was given a hundred seconds with his father, Jonathan Thompson, who he didn’t expect would be coming to watch the concert. They hugged, kissed, compared height, and the father also noticed that Kit gained a little weight. It could have been more emotional if the mother went to see Kit. Boys are just not as expressive with their feelings to one another.
Meanwhile, the teen housemates passed the concert challenge because majority of those who watched their concert said they passed, while only one said they failed. I wonder who that was.
They were able to get P354,000 from the ticket sales and donations, all of which would go to Mababoy Elementary School in Masbate for the construction of more classrooms. Others gave donations in kind like this one company that donated sacks of cement.
ABS-CBN accidentally aired the plug for the 3rd nomination that had Claire, Karen, Kit, Mariz and Yves as the nominees. LoL! It was cut short, though.
Alec was declared safe! Yves was safe! Kit Thompson was evicted!
