Stephany Stefanowitz is Miss Philippines Earth 2012

Stephany Dianne Stefanowitz of Quezon City was crowned Miss Philippines Earth during the grand coronation night that was held on May 27, 2012, at the SM Mall of Asia Center Stage, and was aired live on ABS-CBN. She was crowned by last year’s winner, Athena Imperial.

Stephany is a 22-year-old freelance model, designer, host and singer.

Runners-up include Glennifer Perido of Tabuk City (1st runner-up/Air), Samantha Purvor of San Juan City (2nd runner-up/Water), Thoreen Halvorsen of Puerto Princesa (3rd runner-up/Fire), and Candice Ramos of Vigan (4th runner-up/Eco Tourism).

Part of the top 10 were Roxanne Corluy of Belgium’s Filipino Community; Kathleen Subijano of Muntinlupa; Jaydielou Dilidili of Indang, Cavite; Glenna Christina Duch of Negros Oriental; and Princess Manzon of San Francisco, Cebu.

The special awards that were handed out were as follows:

Miss Beverly Hills 6750 – Aufelyn Zabala of Marilao, Bulacan
Best in Evening Gown – Stefany Stefanowitz of Quezon City
Miss Extraderm – Samantha Purvor of San Juan City
Miss Golden Sunset – Glennifer Perido of Tabuk City
Best in Swimsuit – Samantha Purvor of San Juan City
Miss Zenea Slimming and Body Sculpting – Samantha Purvor of San Juan City

Miss Pontefino Hotel – Queenie Uy of Batangas

The event was hosted by Marc Nelson, Rowilson Fernandez and Ginger Conejero who was herself a 2006 Miss Philippines Air.

Among the judges were actress Empress Schuck, TV host Shalani Soledad-Romulo and politician Coco Pimentel.

Jhong Hilario has been making some noise over a revealing photo that he posted on Instagram. He immediately took the photo down but not before some netizens have grabbed it and posted it online. The much talked about photo was a collage that showed part of a bathroom, a bathtub filled with water, and a photo of his legs while in the bathtub.
