Shannon Magrane gets eliminated from “American Idol 11”

Shannon Magrane gets the boot during American Idol 11’s live results nights on March 15th.

The 16-year-old singer from Tampa, Florida got the least votes from among the 11 contestants based on their March 14 performances.

Model-tall at 6’0”, Shannon sang Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men’s One Sweet Day during the performance night. The judges praised her singing but I guess America knows who they want to vote for regardless.

Shannon sang One Sweet Day again to  convince the judges to save her but the judges didn’t use their one-time save to put her back in the competition, leaving the show with just the top 10 contestants who will all be going for the Idol tour in the summer.
