Phil Younghusband gets Golden Boot Award

Phil Younghusband got the 2012 AFC Challenge Cup Golden Boot award for scoring the most number of goals during the cup.

Phil got a total of six goals, something to brag about even if they didn’t enter the finals.

Being able to make it in the semifinals, however, is already record-breaking in the history of Philippine football. Placing third overall is even greater.

The Philippine Azkals placed third after winning the match against Palestine on March 19th with a score of 4-3, two of which were courtesy of Phil.
