Diablo III drops May 15th

I can still remember playing Diablo with my friends via modem back in the days. Doing so was the coolest thing because internet wasn’t that fast/popular/accessible back then. With the dawn of online games, however, I must admit my Diablo addiction was put to rest.

The announcement of Diablo III’s release, though, somehow put the spark back. I missed the game all of a sudden.

Mike Morhaime, CEO and co-founder of Blizzard Entertainment, has this to say: "After many years of hard work by our development team and months of beta testing by hundreds of thousands of dedicated players around the world, we’re now in the homestretch. We look forward to putting the final polish on Diablo III over the next two months and delivering the ultimate action-RPG experience to gamers worldwide starting on May 15."

You can pre-purchase digital copies of the game at this link so you can play the minute the servers go live.

Physical copies will be available on May 15th all over United States, Canada, Europe, South Korea, Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau.
