Angelica Panganiban, who recently starred in Every Breath You Take opposite Piolo Pascual, has just arrived from Spain when The Buzz got the chance to ask her regarding the rumors linking her name to John Lloyd Cruz.
To the question if the rumors that John Lloyd is her current flame, the usually bubbly actress said, “Nagkatrabaho lang kami and sa ngayon hanggang doon pa lang iyon. Magkaibigan kami, yun lang yun. Kung magiging special siya, eh di makikita niyo. Malalaman niyo. Kung maging matalik kaming magkaibigan, magiging special siya.”
And regarding the rumors that she was seen kissing John Lloyd in a public place in Quezon City, Angelica said, “’Yon ‘yong medyo imposible na talagang mangyari. Hindi na ako ‘yon. Hindi ko naman lubos maisip na gagawin ko ‘yon.”
In the same interview, she expressed disappointment to the talks that she was the cause of John Prats and Bianca Manalo’s breakup, to which she said, “bata pa lang ako, kaibigan ko na si John. Pangit na bigyan ng ibig sabihin ‘yon, ng malisya ‘yon.”
Angelica was recently seen in the Back To School 2012 video campaign of Bench. Her name was also dropped as one of the lead stars in the movie One More Try, one of Star Cinema’s possible entries to the Metro Manila Film Festival 2012.
