GMA Artist Center has released an official statement regarding Steven Silva on Wednesday, June 3, 2015.
Steven, the winner of the fifth season of the Kapuso Network's artista search "StarStruck," recently voiced out his dissatisfaction with how GMA handled his career.
His contract has already expired and although there's an offer from the network to renew, he's still not decided if he's going to sign again due to what happened to his career for the past years.
GMA Artist Center, on the other hand, said that they did their obligations to Steven.
Here's the official statement of GMA Artist Center on Steven Silva:
"Through GMA Artist Center, Steven Silva was given numerous opportunities to develop and strengthen his skills as an artist. He starred in several television projects including Love Bug, Koreana, Time of My Life, Together Forever, Akin Pa Rin ang Bukas, Taste Buddies, and Sunday All Stars. He also appeared in the movie Just One Summer produced by GMA Films.
"GMA Artist Center also enrolled him in various workshops, Filipino (Tagalog) Proficiency Training, arranged product endorsements and booked him in numerous local, regional and international events.
"It is unfortunate that even after his management team has greatly invested on and fulfilled its obligations to Steven, he did not appreciate the efforts made to further his career.
"GMA Artist Center wishes him well in his future endeavors."
