Jessy Mendiola and Matteo Guidicelli team up for the first time in Paraiso which is the 17th installment of the Precious Hearts Romances series.
Paraiso was previously known as Isla. The same teaser trailer was released last June with the former title.
The story is about a shipwrecked man and woman (Matteo and Jessy) who got drawn to each other while they were alone in an island.
Problems arise when they get rescued and they start living their normal lives. Brennan (Matteo) is married, while Yani (Jessy) has a bestfriend with untold feelings for her.
Jewel Mische plays the role of Brennan’s wife. Matt Evans is Yani’s bestfriend. Other members of the cast include Arron Villaflor, Alex Castro, Dionne Monsanto and Kathleen Hermosa.
The series is directed by Nico Hernandez and Connie Macatuno. It is set to premiere on November 12, replacing PHR Presents: Pintada starred by Denise Laurel and Martin Del Rosario in ABS-CBN Kapamilya Gold.
