Lorna Tolentino returns to GMA-7, signs 2-year exclusive contract

Lorna Tolentino is now officially back with GMA-7. The multi-award winning actress signed an exclusive two-year contract with the network on Monday, October 8.

Lorna Tolentino signs contract with GMA-7

Together with Lorna at the contract signing was her manager Lolit Solis. Those who signed for the network were the big bosses – GMA President and COO Gilberto R. Duavit Jr, GMA Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, and GMA Entertainment TV OIC Lilybeth G. Rasonable.

Lorna was first reported to return to the Kapuso Network at the height of talks about Haram which was supposed to be topbilled by Dingdong Dantes and Kylie Padilla. But even if the project was shelved due to issues with the Muslim community, LT’s transfer still pushed through.

The same cast and crew of the shelved Haram were given a new project which was reportedly a heavy drama. Rasonable even commented that they could see no one doing the role but Lorna.

Duavit described the actress as extremely talented and very professional that they are excited and happy for her return.

The actress, meanwhile, said she’s happy to be back because she considers GMA-7 as her home as well. She also added during the interview with 24 Oras that she chose to transfer to the network because it had the best offer at the time.

And now that she’s back, she wishes to work with Dingdong, Marian Rivera, Richard Gutierrez, Ogie Alcasid, Regine Velasquez and Mark Anthony Fernandez who is the son of her deceased husband Rudy Fernandez with Alma Moreno.
