Maine Mendoza's Twitter account hacked

Maine Mendoza's Twitter account was hacked early Tuesday morning by the group Anonymous Philippines.

Followers of Maine, aka Yaya Dub, were surprised to see the #KalyeSerye star post four messages, one after the other, past 1 am of November 2.

As it turned out, it wasn't really her that's posting those messages.

Two of the posts have links to the Facebook page of Anonymous Philippines, one includes the banner of the Million Mask Mask, and the other one includes a letter of apology that assures they will be returning the account to the real owner.

Well, let's hope the phenomenal TV star gets her account back soon.

The hack was done to promote the group's Million Mask March, a political resistance campaign that is set to happen on November 5.
