Piolo Pascual confirmed that he indeed had Iñigo DNA tested in the past.
The piece of news went out when her sister, Chiqui Gonzales, was interviewed by E! News Asia for a feature on Piolo that aired last September 28.
"Yes," he admitted to the press when asked if he really had his son's DNA tested. "Pero huwag na natin pag-usapan. I don't wanna build up the issue."
The "Hawak Kamay" actor also said during the SunPiology Run press conference on Monday that he didn't know his sister would be talking about the issue.
"Hindi ko alam na my sister talked about it," he said. "At kasama ko yung anak ko noon. I was cringing kasi hindi ko naman alam na lalabas 'yon sa E! Pero siyempre, he's my own blood."
The issue popped up when he was asked if he already has his last will and testament ready, something related to Sun Life, the insurance company sponsoring the event.
Piolo said he's working on it and revealed that his mom is his main beneficiary, and the only listed child is Iñigo.
But in case more kids pop up claiming to be his own flesh and blood: "DNA lang ang katapat nun. Ano 'yon, ganun-ganun lang?"
