“Walang Hanggan” ends this October

The phenomenal hit series Walang Hanggan will soon bid farewell.

Walang Hanggan

As Kris Aquino revealed in Kris TV on Tuesday, Walang Hanggan only has eight weeks left.

The multimedia star said it in passing when Helen Gamboa, who plays Doña Margaret in the primetime series, phoned in to give a message to daughter Ciara Sotto who, in turn, was a guest in the morning talk show.

Walang Hanggan premiered January 16, 2012. If it won’t get any more extension, it would be on air for nine months total. And that’s nine months of dominating the national TV ratings.

The series is topbilled by Coco Martin and Julia Montes together with Paulo Avelino, Richard Gomez, Dawn Zulueta, Melissa Ricks, Joem Bascon, Susan Roces and Helen Gamboa. It is directed by Jerry Lopez Sineneng, Trina N. Dayrit and Jojo A. Saguin from the script written by Reggie Amigo and Noreen Capili.

Recently, Daniel (Coco) tried to escape from prison but failed. His friend Mang Teban (Robet Arevalo) was even killed by the prison police in the process.

The series is on its last eight weeks and the remaining episodes will for sure be must-watched. Don’t fail to follow the love story of Daniel and Katerina (Julia) every weeknight right after Princess And I on ABS-CBN.
