Radio jocks Mo Twister, Tin Gamboa (DJ Suzy) and Mia Bayuga of the Magic 89.9 morning show Good Times With Mo will be suspended by the radio station for two weeks without pay.
The suspension was the result of a “cruel joke” on this morning’s edition of the radio show where the three DJs created the Twitter hashtag #charicepempengcosextape and encouraged their listeners to make it a trending topic on the microblogging site.
Indeed, the influence of Mo made it the number 1 trending topic on Twitter in the Philippines.
Charice, however, was not amused and posted on Twitter that she will file a libel case against them.
But then, Mo was quick to apologize to Charice (still on Twitter), even saying that he’s proud of what the singing sensation has accomplished especially on how she has been putting the country in a positive light.
DJ Suzy also posted her apologies, but I really guess they won’t be apologizing if (1) Charice didn’t expressed her plans of pressing charges, and (2) they weren’t suspended by the radio station.
I just don’t know when their suspension will take effect because they will still be on tomorrow as plans of apologizing to Charice live on tomorrow’s show has been divulged.
Well, they better should, and they better greet Charice a happy birthday as well for she will be celebrating her birthday tomorrow.
