The full trailer of Born To Love You, which stars Coco Martin and Angeline Quinto, has been released online. The movie is set for release May 30.
Born To Love You is the launching movie of Angeline. Production started sometime last year but has been delayed due to Coco’s television series Walang Hanggan.
I can’t help but cringe watching Angeline throw her lines, but it is quite okay for someone who’s really a singer but was made to act. The “kilig” moments were in the parts that was accompanied by Angeline’s Fall In Love Again, a song from her second studio album that is also used as the movie’s theme.
What I liked most about the trailer was Coco’s transformation (when his bangs was cut and his face shaven) that seemed to tell us that a proper hairstyle has a major role in your overall look.
And that said, Coco will be the one who will draw crowds to see the movie. His acting abilities was exhibited in a scene with Albert Martinez, and I couldn’t help but think that that scene was just included mainly for that purpose.
I’m a fan of both lead stars, but I’d really rather hear Angeline sing than see her act. But as I already said above, this is just her first movie. Let’s wait for her second and see if her acting improves.
