ABS-CBN’s newest “Wansapanataym” special starring Kapamilya teen stars Nash Aguas, Alexa Ilacad, and rising “ASAP 19″ boy group Gimme 5 debuted strongly as the most-watched weekend TV program in the country.
According to data from Kantar Media, the first two episodes of “Wansapanataym Presents Perfecto” ranked first and second in the list of overall top weekend TV programs with a national TV rating of 26.4% on Saturday (August 30) and 27.6% on Sunday (August 31). It is more than 10 percentage points higher compared to its rival programs on GMA “Marian” (15.9%) and “Ismol Family” (18%), respectively.
Aside from TV ratings, Nash, Alexa, and Gimme 5’s “Wansapanataym” special also conquered Twitter, where “Wansa Perfecto” and “Alexa Ilacad Wansa Perfecto” became worldwide trending topics over the weekend.
Meanwhile, in the continuation of “Wansapanataym Presents Perfecto” this weekend (September 6 and 7), Perry’s life begins to change now that all his wishes are coming true with the help of a mysterious creature. Will Perry finally have a perfect life when he gets all the things he wants?
