Cedric Lee, Zimmer Raz go out on bail; Vhong Navarro flies to Canada

Vhong Navarro flew to Canada on Wednesday, a day after Cedric Lee and Simeon "Zimmer" Raz, Jr. got out of prison on bail.

Cedric and Zimmer were two of the accused with serious illegal detention in connection with Vhong's mauling incident in Taguig last January.

The court granted their petition for bail because the comedian-TV host's camp reportedly failed to present strong evidence for the case.

The "It's Showtime" host expressed disappointment with the decision of the court but still expressed faith in the country's system.

"Ako sinabi ko lahat at meron kaming mga ebidensya," he said in an interview with ABS-CBN News. "Hindi ako nanloloko, hindi ako gumawa ng istorya, sinabi ko lahat at meron kaming katibayan."

He added that the evidences they presented might not have been strong enough to others.

His flying out of the country, however, was for the noontime show's scheduled concerts in Toronto and Edmonton on September 20 and 21 respectively.

Meanwhile, Cedric's message to Vhong, which he told the media while he was going out of prison, stirred controversy.

"It's showtime!" he said in reply to the question if he has a message to the Kapamilya celebrity.
