Is Jake Vargas leaving his manager?

Jake Vargas denied the rumors that he is planning to leave German Moreno, who is managing his showbiz career.

In an interview with pep.ph, the young actor said he was surprised that the issue, which already came out last year, has resurfaced.

"Iyon nga, nagulat din ako. Parang last year din, nabalita na 'yan," he said.

He added that he never thought of leaving his "Tatay" because he owes his showbiz career to him.

"Hindi, hindi ko naisip yan. Kasi si Tatay, sobrang laki ng itinulong niya sa akin since nag-start ako sa showbiz. Siya ang nag-buildup sa akin para tumaas yung career ko. Utang na loob ko yun kay Tatay," he said.

He is contented with what's currently happening with his career.

"Happy naman po, 'tsaka kuntento naman ako sa mga nangyayari na kahit papaano meron namang blessings na dumarating. Katulad niyan, may show na naman, so ano, masaya dahil nae-enjoy ko naman yung pagiging artista," he said.

Jake is in the cast of GMA-7's "Strawberry Lane" together with some of the network's young stars.

That said, does he have any insecurities with the popularity of new Kapuso stars?

"Wala. Kasi ako, kuntento naman ako sa nangyayari sa akin ngayon," he answered, saying he's not insecure at all because he doesn't compete with others.

"Hindi naman ako nakikipagkumpitensiya sa iba," he said.
