Cinemalaya 2014 winners - Nora Aunor wins 1st Cinemalaya Best Actress

Nora Aunor won Best Actress at the Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival 2014 for her role in Hustisya. The film also won the NETPAC (Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema) Award and was declared the top-grossing entry in the Directors Showcase category. It was Nora's first Cinemalaya award.

Meanwhile, Eula Valdes was named Best Actress in the New Breed category for her portrayal of a University of the Philippines professor in the film Dagitab. Robert Arevalo (Hari Ng Tondo) was Best Actor in Directors Showcase, and Dante Rivero (1st Ko Si 3rd) was Best Actor in the New Breed category.
